A women from Naugatuck, Connecticut, is facing accusations of committing identity theft, according to local law enforcers. An active arrest warrant was issued and Ms Synott, aged 60 and who who resides in New Street, Naugatuck, was arrested by police officers on September 20.
A spokesperson for local police stated that Ms Synott’s arrest warrant had been issued following an identity theft and larceny incident that had been reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on February 11.
Having been processed following her arrest, the accused was later released on the posting of a $10,000 bond. Ms Synott has been charged with third degree identity theft and fourth degree larceny.
